So find you a good farmer that you can trust!

Since this Mongolian ground beef recipe only takes a few minutes to make, dinner will be on the table quickly! I love stirring it up while something is roasting in the oven. Or even better, have a side salad made ahead of time and just grab that out. Mongolian beef tips

  • This recipe calls for ground beef but if you want to go another route you can use the traditional flank steak cut against the grain.
  • If you want to make it ahead of time, go for it. The flavors are a bit tighter when it’s made fresh, but I’m all about leftovers, so do you.
  • If you want more sauce, you can double the sauce ingredients. We like it like this, but again, do what you like!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Chili garlic sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. minced ginger
  • ¼ C. Beef Broth
  • ¼ C. Chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, chili garlic sauce, minced garlic and ginger. Stir to combine well.
  • Drain any excess grease from the ground beef, and reduce the heat to medium.
  • Pour the sauce over the ground beef, and simmer until mostly absorbed.
  • Sprinkle the dish with the green onions before serving.
