Ingredients

  • 4 cups cabbage shredded
  • 1/2 cup onion shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrot shredded
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • In a bowl whisk buttermilk, mayo, sugar, salt, celery seed, and lemon juice.
  • Add all the vegetable; shredded cabbage, onion and carrot.
  • Coat all the items in the dressing.
  • Cover and let the coleslaw rest in refrigerator for couple of hours or overnight.
