Best cranberry sauce recipe
We love the zest of the citrus and cranberries paired with the pop of heat from the jalapeno. Not too much, just enough heat to be delicious!
Jalapeno Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large jalapeno seeded and minced
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- Zest from 1 lime
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring it to a rapid boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and pulse using a hand blender.
- Place back on the heat and cook covered for an additional 2-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes. Keep refrigerated.
