My kids love to make recipes, and this crescent roll dough helps them make fun things that I can bake for them. They always turn out delicious. And they are versatile in so many flavors. All you have to do is pop the can, separate the sections, give one to each child, and supply the toppings.

This ham and cranberry roll ups idea came from leftover ham and cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving. We already knew the flavors went together awesome. My homemade cranberry sauce recipe is bomb and compliments the salty ham so well. And using leftovers gives you a Cheap Lunch Ideas for Daycare.

Kids love ham and they love anything with ham in it. So this is the perfect idea for cooking with kids. We make recipes all throughout the fall, I take pictures of the kids making them, and create cookbooks with them as Christmas gifts for the daycare families. They are beloved by families for years.
