Jalapeno Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large jalapeno seeded and minced
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • Zest from 1 lime
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring it to a rapid boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and pulse using a hand blender.
  • Place back on the heat and cook covered for an additional 2-5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes. Keep refrigerated.
