I use a lot of pork roast because it’s very economical. It takes a while to break down the muscle in the pork roast like any other pork roast, but once you do, you can make a ton of quick and easy meals with the meat. I like to cook one roast and use it to make dinner after dinner. I can cook the meat, cut or shred it up and freeze half for later. Then I still have a ton of meat to make into tacos, soups, casseroles and much more! You can start out with BBQ pork roast or even this amazing pork Verde.
Pork tenderloin makes some tasty meals and doesn’t take long to cook. You can marinate this one the day before or before you leave for work and make this Easy Oven Roasted Cuban Style pork tenderloin in just a few minutes, plus it goes in the oven to roast so you can handle homework or chores while it cooks.
Sausage is a great way to flavor a meal without a lot of ingredients. You can do the good ole breakfast for dinner plan, but you can also use pork sausage for dinner in soups, casseroles, chilis, and so much more. My favorite soup is Zuppa Toscana and sausage is the star.
You can use sausage in place of ground beef to amp up the flavor of soup. It is also great in chili, tacos, nachos, and anything you can imagine. Oh, don’t forget it’s amazing in cheese dip as well.
You can also use sausage for a great skillet meal like this sausage and peppers.
Ground pork gives amazing flavor to burgers, chili, tacos or even these baked pork meatballs. Try swapping it out instead of ground beef, you’ll be amazed. And it cooks up in a snap!
