What kind of garden WOWS have you learned?
Definitely did not know about keeping the plants in for winter to avoid erosion, but that makes sense! Learnt about soil erosion in geography but didn’t think that it would apply to a garden.
It’s interesting, isn’t it? We lose so much top soil every year from wind and rains, nature covers the ground to protect itself, but in a conventional garden, we strip all the protection away with weeding and tilling, etc. You can also mulch to help with it as well. I wouldn’t have believed it until I started gardening and saw half of my raised bed soil gone after the first winter. So crazy! Thank you for checking it out!
