Ingredients

  • ½ C cornstarch
  • ¼ C hair conditioner
  • food coloring
  • 1 gallon ziplock bag

Instructions

  • Add cornstarch, conditioner, and 1 drop of food coloring into the ziplock bag.
  • Remove the air then seal the bag and mix with your hands.
  • Continue to mix until ingredients combine and dough begins to form.
  • Remove from the bag and continue to mix with your hands.
  • Store in an air-tight container or resealable ziplock baggie.

How to Store DIY Cloud Dough

Store the dough in an air-tight container or can store it in ziplock bags. If there are multiple colors I like to store them separately. You can store it at room temperature and it does not need to be refrigerated. Keep in mind that after some time, it will dry out. You can still play with it in a different type of sensory experience, but it won’t hold together after a long time of storage.

What do I do if my cloud dough is sticky?

If you find that after mixing the conditioner with the corn starch it is still sticky you will want to add more corn starch in a tablespoon at a time. Many variables can affect exactly how much is needed.
