- 1 Pizza crust homemade or store bought
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/3 cup pizza sauce
- Italian seasoning to taste
- Garlic powder to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 30 pepperoni slices
- Optional toppings mozzarella cheese shreds and fresh basil
Preheat the oven to 400°F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the dough to be about 10x12” rectangle. Brush olive oil on the top of the pizza crust.
Spread pizza sauce on top of the olive oil. Lightly sprinkle the Italian seasoning and garlic powder on top.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese throughout, and top with pepperoni slices.
Roll the dough, along the 10” side, into a tight log. Place in the fridge for about 20 minutes (uncovered) to firm up.
Slice dough into about 1” slices to get 12 pepperoni rolls.
Place pepperoni rolls on a baking sheet, and sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are lightly browned.
Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle chopped basil on top before serving. Serve warm.
