Transportation Sensory Bags

Easy DIY squish bags with a transportation theme for babie, toddlers, and preschoolers at daycare to improve fine motor skills, eye hand coordination, and cognitive skills while they have sensory play fun!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz clear hair gel
  • Transportation erasers dollar store
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Zip-lock gallon-size baggie
  • Packaging tape or colorful duct tape
  • Alcohol swabs or alcohol and cotton balls
  • White cardstock

Instructions

  • Gather all the supplies.
  • Take the alcohol swab and erase the product labeling or any writing.
  • Create a scene on the white card stock using the markers. Make a field for the tractors, tracks for the train, roads for the cars and ambulances, and some dirt piles for the dump trucks.
  • Add 16 oz of clear hair gel to the ziplock baggie, then add the transportation erasers.
  • Push all the air out of the plastic baggie. Seal the baggie and add the piece of cardstock to the back. Use packaging tape or duct tape to seal the bag and secure the cardstock in place.

Notes

*create different scenes for the erasers like parking spots, or buildings they belong to.
