Ingredients

  • 1 pound of strawberries
  • 8 oz baking chocolate
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the strawberries with a paper towel. It is important to remove as much moisture from the exterior as possible to prevent the chocolate from clumping.
  • Allow to continue to dry for an hour or so to make sure they are completely dry.
  • Lay out parchment or wax paper for the berries to rest on after being dipped.
  • Melt the white chocolate for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until you can stir it smooth.
  • Dip the berries into the melted white chocolate and set them on the parchment paper to set.
  • Stick the eyes on the berries while they are still wet.
  • Set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or longer until ready to eat.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge.
