Ingredients

  • 6 Boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp. Paprika
  • ½ tsp. Oregano
  • ½ tsp. Sage
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 1 small onion quartered
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 lemon cut into slices

Instructions

  • Add the butter to a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season the chicken on both sides with the paprika, oregano, sage, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sear the chicken evenly on both sides to brown it.
  • Place the onion, minced garlic, honey, and chicken broth in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Add the chicken and butter from the skillet to the crockpot.
  • Top the chicken with the sliced lemon.
  • Cook on high for 4 hours.
