Nut Free Granola Bars

Yummy chewy granola bars packed with energy, sweet, tasty, and good for you!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c raw sugar
  • 1/2 c maple syrup
  • 1/2 c sun butter
  • 3 1/2 c groovy granola
  • 1/2 c sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  • Butter a 9x9 pan or line with parchment paper (or both)
  • In a saucepan, combine sugar and syrup
  • Cook and stir on medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil
  • Remove from heat
  • Stir in sun butter until well blended
  • Add granola and seeds and mix well
  • Pour into buttered pan
  • Cool to room temperature
  • Cut into 3 x 1 inch pieces
