Ingredients

  • Farm Animal Toys
  • Farm Animal Accessories hay, fences, etc
  • Sensory Bin Container
  • Dirt
  • Toothbrush

Instructions

  • Set up the sensory bin container with dirt.
  • Lay out all the toys and encourage your child to set up an area for each animal. Discuss what each animal needs.
  • Kids can pretend to feed the animals. They can use toy haystacks or grass to “feed” the animals.
  • Provide the kids with a small water container to ensure the animals have something to drink.
  • Care for the animals when they get muddy by using the toothbrush to clean them.
  • Encourage your child to talk about what they’re doing to work on vocabulary skills. They can use words like haystack, farm, and feeding.
