For the Pasta Salad:
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 2 5 oz cans tuna, drained and flaked
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grapes halved
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup celery chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion finely diced
For the Dressing:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process and cool the pasta.
Set aside in a large mixing bowl.
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, ranch seasoning, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic, black pepper, and salt.
Mix until smooth and well combined.
Set aside.
To the cooled pasta, add tuna, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, grapes, celery, and red onion.
Pour the creamy ranch dressing over the salad.
Toss everything together until evenly coated.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
