Breakfast Pot Pie Recipe

Creamy rich sausage and biscuit pot pie. Biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs all in one dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb blue and gold sausage or Jimmy Dean if you can't get it
  • 6-8 eggs
  • 2 cups prepared sausage gravy
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 16 Biscuits
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and lightly prepare a 13x9 baking dish with nonstick spray
  • Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium high heat
  • Make the gravy
  • Remove from pan into a seperate bowl
  • Add the butter, stir until melted
  • Stir in the eggs until done then stir in prepared gravy until fully combined
  • Remove from heat and set aside
  • Flatten 8 biscuits and place them in the bottom of the dish
  • Pour the sausage egg mixture over the biscuits
  • Sprinkle cheese over the egg mixture
  • Flatten remaining biscuits and lay them on top of the cheese
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until top biscuits are golden brown
  • Garnish with parsley
  • Let sit for 5 minutes
