Homemade Pretzel Snacks

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 3 cup white flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Wash your hands and have the kids wash theirs.
  • Place yeast in water, stir and set aside.
  • Mix salt, sugar, and flours together.
  • Blend in yeast.
  • Cover and let rise 30 minutes.
  • Here is the fun part, form into pretzels.
  • Beat egg and Tablespoon of water together
  • Brush with egg white and add salt to top.
  • Bake at 450 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
