Creamy Steak and Broccoli Pasta (Hamburger Helper)

  • 1 pound steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 pkg. pasta of your choice
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 T. flour
  • 1/2 C. milk (may need more)
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and dump into colander to drain. 

  2. Add butter to pan. Cook steak on medium heat until browned. 
  3. Remove cooked steak from pan and set aside. 
  4. Cut up onion and cook in pan on medium heat until tender and translucent. 
  5. Add flour and cook until slightly browned. 
  6. Add milk and cook until thick and bubbly. Add more milk if sauce is too thick. 
  7. Add salt and pepper, cooked pasta and cooked steak. Mix well.
