The crockpot is the hero of the kitchen. Is there anything better to help you with dinner? I love when I find a really great crock pot meal that the whole family loves and this one is it. It’s always a big hit with my daycare kids. And who doesn’t love comfort food recipes?
And this lemon and butter make a wonderful sauce in the crock pot as the chicken cooks that you can spoon over it as is or thicken it up and make a gravy. Either way, it’s so good!
You don’t have to sear the chicken before you toss it in the crock pot if you’re crunched for time. But if you do, it adds another layer of flavor and browns up the chicken a little. It’s just a bonus, but not a necessity!
This makes a great Cheap Lunch Ideas for Daycare or for your family.
