There is nothing better for a quick snack than a plate of Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks with Egg Roll Wrappers. They will be the easiest mozzarella sticks you ever make. Super quick and so good! A great air fryer recipe to keep and use over and over again!m
The kids will LOVE these! And you can count them as a snack on the food program. Or serve them for the protein for lunch!
It takes less than 20 minutes to roll these mozzarella sticks up and get em cooked. And there’s nothing like that crunchy texture and ooey gooey inside to make your snacking satisfying! And they are fairly low in calories!
You don’t even have to take the time to freeze them. You can even add a couple of pieces of pepperoni and when you dip them in the marinara sauce, you’ll be having pizza flavored fun!

Like with most air fryer recipes, you want to serve these warm. Not hot right from the air fryer oven, but warm soon after. Just like oil fried foods, they lose their crispness if you let them get cold. So don’t waste all that crunch! Get them while they’re fresh!

Mozzarella sticks in an air fryer
Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks with Egg Roll Wrappers
Ingredients
- 6 pieces string cheese
- 6 egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg
- optional olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400.
- Crack the egg into a small bowl and whisk it for one minute.
- Set a mozzarella stick on one corner of the egg roll wrapper, then fold the wrapper over it. When you get to the middle, fold in the sides, then continue rolling until you hit the other end.
- Spoon some of the egg mixture onto the end of the wrapper to seal it, then brush the entire mozzarella stick in the egg mixture.
- *Optional for a more fried taste, lightly brush with olive oil.
- Air fry for 4-5 minutes, then flip and air fry for another 2-4 minutes.
- Serve hot!
